Sail Gypsy Wind

The Travels, Trials and Tribulations...

Meet the Captain...

P3270025
Once upon a time, this smiling skipper was a not so happy newspaper publisher...so he sold the newspaper and bought a boat. After spending a lot of time and money fixing the boat, he actually went sailing - and this website is about the adventures he's had, the places he's visited and the wonderful people he has met along the way! Cap'n Wally is often recognized while underway due to his writing, published in SAIL Magazine, Waterway Guides, Canadian Yachting, Georgian Bay Sailing, Southwinds, Spinsheet and numerous other publications. And of course, sailing a bright red boat tends to make you stand out too! When not writing or traveling, he teaches sailing and does charters (see Canadian Yacht Charters in Lake Huron's magical North Channel), and boat deliveries, anywhere from the Caribbean to the Great Lakes. As you can see, gardening doesn't fit in his schedule.Don't forget to check out the Captain's Log - a record of the Captain's published writing in SAIL Magazine, Waterway Guide, Spinsheet, Southwinds Sailing, Ontario Sailing, Canadian Yachting, the Tampa Tribune and other publications.
